1. Overview
FitHub (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the FitHub mobile application and related services (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, discontinue use.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect and store the following categories of information:
- Account Information: name, email address, profile photo, or similar identifiers you provide when creating or updating your account.
- Support Communications: messages you send to our support channels or feedback forms.
- Payment and Subscription Information: if you purchase a subscription, payment details are processed by third-party payment processors. We may store limited transaction and subscription metadata such as purchase date, plan type, subscription status, and receipt or transaction identifiers.
- App Usage Information: limited information about how you use the App, such as app opened count, workout plans generated count, user templates created count, and workouts completed count.
- Profile and Fitness-Related Information: information you choose to provide or create in the App, such as gender, age, body weight, available equipment, exercise performance data, workout preferences, workout plans, and related fitness or training inputs and outputs.
- User-Created Content: names and related details for custom exercises, custom equipment, workout templates, and similar content you create in the App.
We do not collect location data through the App. The mobile app does not rely on cookies in the same way a website does, but our websites or web-based pages may use limited cookies, local storage, or similar browser technologies for functional purposes.
3. How We Use Information
We may use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the App;
- Personalize your in-app experience;
- Generate, store, and manage workout plans, workout templates, and exercise-related recommendations;
- Record and display workout history, exercise performance, available equipment, and related fitness information;
- Process subscriptions and manage membership status;
- Measure product usage, diagnose issues, and improve features, reliability, and performance;
- Communicate with you about account activity, service updates, support requests, and important notices;
- Enforce our Terms, detect or prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse, and protect the security of the App;
- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or reporting obligations.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:
- Service Providers: vendors that support hosting, infrastructure, customer support, payment processing, analytics, communications, or related operational services;
- Business Transfers: parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets;
- Legal and Safety Purposes: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, safety, security, or property of FitHub, our users, or others.
We do not sell personal information for money. We may use or disclose aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information where permitted by law.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, maintain your account, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, and comply with legal obligations. This may include retaining account information, workout-related records, usage information, custom exercises, custom equipment, templates, and related settings unless they are deleted by you or removed as part of account deletion. We may also retain limited information for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, audits, enforcement, backups, and legal compliance.
6. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, or request portability of certain data.
- You may access, update, or delete certain information through the App or by contacting support@fithub-app.com.
- You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages.
- Residents of certain jurisdictions, including the EU, UK, and California, may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.
We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. 8. Children’s Privacy
The App may be used by individuals of any age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without any consent required by applicable law. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information in violation of applicable law, contact privacy@fithub-app.com and we will review the request and take appropriate action.
9. International Transfers
If you use the App outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the App, by email, or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after the updated Policy becomes effective means you accept the changes to the extent permitted by law.
